St Cuthberts has a set of 8 bells (Tenor 27cwt). Recently installed are training aids that allow individual teaching and method learning to take place while the bells are silenced.

Practice night is Friday (between 7:00 and 9:00pm when not at the Cathedral – check first)

Open ringing on a Sunday is usually 2nd, 4th and 5th Sundays, 10:00-10.45am (check first)

Prior notification is advisable so that ringing can be planned in advance
